Preparation:

  • Ensure the tooth surface is cleaned with pumice paste and thoroughly washed with water.
  • Dry the tooth surface without desiccating it.

Mixing:

  • Dispense one level scoop of powder onto a mixing pad using the provided measuring scoop.
  • Dispense one drop of liquid separately.
  • Divide the powder into two equal portions.
  • Mix the first portion of powder with the liquid for 10 seconds using a plastic spatula.
  • Add the second portion of powder and continue mixing for an additional 20 seconds until a homogeneous paste is achieved.

Application:

  • Apply the mixed cement to the prepared tooth surface using appropriate techniques for the type of restoration (Class III, Class V, or Class I).
  • Avoid contamination with saliva, water, or acidic agents during application, as this can affect bonding and performance.

Setting and Finishing:

  • Allow the cement to initially set in the intraoral environment for 5 minutes from the start of mixing.
  • Once the cement loses its shine, apply cocoa butter or petroleum jelly to the restoration if necessary.
  • Use a matrix strip for contouring if applicable.
  • Perform contouring and polishing under running water after 6 minutes from the start of cement mixing.
  • Dry the cement surface immediately after polishing and reapply cocoa butter.

Post-Application Care:

  • Follow recommended procedures for handling and disposal.
  • Store unused portions of powder and liquid tightly closed in their respective containers to maintain quality and prevent contamination.

Safety Precautions:

  • Wear protective gloves and glasses during handling to prevent sensitization or allergic reactions.
  • In case of skin or oral tissue contact, remove immediately and wash with alcohol-soaked sponge or cotton followed by water.
  • Flush eyes immediately with water if contact occurs and seek medical attention.
